Growing Each Other
Hey Guys
Today, I was inundated with testimonies of how I was instrumental in the growth of my sister-friends. I was surprised but so pleased. I received two phone calls from friends sharing great news about their lives, some prayer requests that had manifested, some dreams that had come through and simply new strength that was vacant before. It was like eating ice cream.
It dawned on me just how much influence we have on each other's lives. I guess that could go either way. It's better if our influence is positive. This whole thing has challenged me to be more careful about my words, and my attitude. Now that I know how powerful friendship could be, I have a responsiblity to be wholesome. I never thought that our growth is so tied up in each other. For those of you that think you don't need anybody, it's not true, you do.
Thinking back I can see where a lot of my growth was caused by the women, men and even the children in my life. I think I will make a list of them and their contributions, maybe even send them a thank you card. I bet that will blow their minds. Everybody loves to hear that they brought good things to a person's life. Why don't you try it too?

The Love Dare
Hey Ladies,
I hope you are doing great! Of course you are because you are blessed by God.
The other say I finally saw the movie, FireProof. The movie touched me especially as it brought out how much God keeps loving us without expecting to receive anything back. I left that movie wanting to create a 40 day love dare to God. I wanted to do something to show my love to him for 40 days. So I started to share my faith with someone I didn't really know. That was wonderful.
I shared my feelings with my husband and realized that I needed to share a 40day love dare with him. I didn't think about him at all and needless to say he was a little bit hurt. I saw that even though God is deserving our love, the way we can show him how much we love him is by loving our neighbor. By neighbor I mean anyone close to you- physically, emotionally, or spiritually. Remember that scripture that says, how can you love God whom you have never seen and hate your brother who you see everyday? Not that we hate anybody- at least I hope you don't, but just going through life bearly showing love to others is below the mark. So I decided to create a love dare for my husband and my friends. I'll let you know how it comes out.
